What is nitrile gloves

NBR is obtained by emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile. NBR is mainly produced by low temperature emulsion polymerization. It has excellent oil resistance, high wear resistance, good heat resistance and strong adhesion. Its disadvantages are poor low temperature resistance, poor ozone resistance, poor insulation performance and low elasticity. NBR is mainly used to manufacture oil-resistant rubber products. A synthetic rubber NBR, prepared by copolymerization of butadiene with acrylonitrile. It is a synthetic rubber with good oil resistance (especially alkane oil) and aging resistance. There are 42~46,36~41,31~35,25~30,18,24 and so on. The more acrylonitrile content, the better oil resistance, but the corresponding decrease in cold resistance. which can be used in 120℃ of air or in 150℃ of oil for a long time. In addition, it also has good water resistance, air tightness and excellent adhesion. Widely used in making all kinds of oil-resistant rubber products, a variety of oil-resistant gaskets, gaskets, casing, soft packaging, soft hose, printing and dyeing cots, cable rubber materials, etc., in the automotive, aviation, oil, photocopying and other industries become essential elastic materials.


 NBR has excellent oil resistance. Dingdilute monomer can be co-polymerized into three different chain structures: cis, trans and 1,2- carbonyl. trans accounts for about 78% of typical NBR structures. because the NBR molecular chain structure contains cyanide, oil resistance (e.g., resistance to mineral oil, liquid fuels, animal and vegetable oils, and solvents) is superior to natural rubber, neoprene, and styrene-butadiene rubber. There is NBR a wider range of use temperature compared with other rubber, its long-term use temperature is 120℃, at the same time NBR has good low temperature resistance, low vitrification temperature value can reach -55℃.


  NBR has good chemical stability and good processing performance. With the increase of relative density, vulcanization speed and tensile strength, the rebound property decreases and the cold resistance becomes worse. Because the cyanide in the NBR is easily polarized by electric field, the dielectric properties decrease and it is semiconductor rubber. NBR can be divided into five categories according to the ACN content: super high, medium high, medium and low acrylonitrile. The production mode is divided into two kinds: continuous and intermittent polymerization. Continuous polymerization is usually used for production of less varieties and large production, with low consumption. Intermittent polymerization is suitable for multi-variety and small batch production. So far, there is no trend of substitution.
